Those of you that know me well may know my fascination with film noir.  I love the genre.  I find a lot of people don't really know what it is, so I decided to make a new page dedicated to it.  It contains a very brief overview of the genre and links to a bunch of what I consider the classic film noirs.  So if you've been wanting to improve your film buff cred, looking for some great old movies to add to your collection or just want some Netflix ideas, I give you my film noir page.

By the way, any recommendations of film noirs not on my list, feel free to leave them in the comments area.

As if I don't have enough reading to keep up with, I just discovered a lot of people are starting blogs related to food.  Of course this might be a nice break from the tech blogs I mainly read.  Of particular interest are blogs from people who are switching careers by going to culinary school.  It's always interesting to hear about real experiences.  Don't know if I'll ever go that route, but owning my own b&b or restaurant at some point is still very much a big interest.

interesting what 30 days of nothing but McDonald's can do to you.  and this guy was healthy, which can't be said for a lot of McDonald's customers
