Was driving back from LA Saturday night and the announcer said he was going to play the new Morrissey single.  I was like, whatever, another lame attempt by an 80s guy to cash in on the 80s influence in music right now.  I was never much of a fan back in the day, didn't really get it.  too busy listening to Bon Jovi.  i've liked The Smiths and Morrissey a bit more as I've gotten older though.  anyway, this new single rocks - Irish Blood English Heart.  starts off with this cool muscular dry guitar riff and never lets up.  sounds great.  i'm kinda interested to hear what the new album is going to sound like now.  it comes out May 18th.

Found a couple online merchants to try in one of the food blogs I was reading.  They ship fresh and frozen seafood all over the country.  Not cheap, but this stuff looks good.

The box office for the Passion continues to amaze all the skeptics.  After 2 weekends the box office stands at $212 million, with the $51.4 million second weekend outranking even Return of the King's 2nd weekend.  It passed the $200 million mark in only 12 days, just slightly longer than Spider Man's 9 days and Return of the King's 11 days.  All this without any holiday weekends to help it out.  While it will be interesting to see the impact this has on Hollywood (bets on how long before “The 10 Commandments - The Remake” hits the screen), the bigger impact of all this is all the people who are seeing this movie and being confronted with the person of Jesus, some for the first time.
