I feel like lately I'm getting all the good links from Jeffrey Overstreet's blog, here's another one. Great interview with Linford Detweiler in Paste. The thing that strikes me about Linford is that just reading his words can sometimes provoke goose bumps, he's that good of a poet writer. So when you add in Karin's voice, it's no wonder you start getting holy ghost moments.

A month or so back Kristin and I watched Inland Empire and it turned out to be a most perplexing film, even for a Lynch fan like myself. Kristin is not familiar with Lynch and the film left her most unsettled. It is not an easy film to watch, but like most of Lynch's work it rewards introspection and time spent in the mind unraveling its mysteries.
Jeffrey Overstreet points out an awesome essay on Lynch and Inland Empire from Adam Walter, perhaps the best one I've read yet.
